In this newsletter, I would like to share about our new initiatives in Zambia in Central Africa – the first time Mission Possible UK has supported a ministry in this country .  This is special to me as I worked in Zambia from 1973 to 1978 and became a Christian there due to the witness of Zambian Christians.

Our  first consignment of Bibles reached Livingstone in Southern Zambia just before Easter and the result has been joy unspeakable. As well as providing Study Bibles for leaders in Livingstone, we included a load of Manga Cartoon Bibles as part of an outreach initiative ...

It has been said that saving just one child like Sasha would be a sufficient reason for this ministry – thanks to the support we have received, we have been able to save many children like Sasha ...

Nightmarish life on the streets.

Lena had been living with her alcoholic parents on the streets of Moscow for several years when our patrol found her. She, along with other young boys and girls, approached our patrol car for the food we offered them. Our street team reached out to help Lena, who, in spite of her young age, had experienced all the horrors of street life.

At eleven years old Lena was one of the first children to come to the newly established Moscow shelter home in 1998 ...

Hero Brothers

MPUK Newsletter Cover

The Bulgarian Roma (also known as gypsies) are among the poorest people on the continent. Their families are large, but the children are often neglected. Few Roma children complete public school, and at ten years of age, full responsibility for the care of younger siblings often falls on the shoulders of the oldest.

Mission Possible’s five soup kitchens, which operate out of Roma churches, help 250 hungry children on a regular basis. In addition to providing meals, we teach Christian Sunday school lessons and offer professional courses for young adults. Read More ...
